How did it all begin?

How did it all begin?

Our Horn Is NOT Medicine was founded by Lee-Anne Davis on January 12, 2012. Lee-Anne is a field ranger based at Ngala Tented Camp, a private concession within the Kruger National Park in South Africa. After a handful of encounters with poached rhinos, Lee-Anne had a need to take action and educate the world about the slaughter that was taking place. The entire team of Ngala rangers are now involved in the campaign and they help bring much needed attention to the subject.

We are involved ...

We are involved ...

Lee-Anne has single-handedly run the campaign since 2012 from within the Kruger National Park. Since the response was so good she got her team of field guides involved. As they spend a lot of time with guests from all over the world that want to know how to help, this is the perfect opportunity for them to share Our Horn is not Medicine’s story. Along with Bathawk pilot Bruce McDonald and Southern African Wildlife Collge CEO Theresa Sowry, Our Horn is not Medicine has become a successful campaign in the KNP. So much so that OHNM has now merged with the SAWC to become the official campaign for the counter-poaching projects that run out of the SAWC.
